This must be one of the best pasta recipes I have ever tried. Penne pasta with avocado pesto!
Full of healthy fats,  paired with lemon juice and zest plus fresh herbs and nutritional yeast (noochilicious) which acts as a great substitute for parmesan cheese or pecorino on your non-vegan recipes. Yes, this penne pasta with avocado pesto recipe is completely vegan. Try it!

  • 16 Oz Penne pasta
  • 2 pcs Avocadoes halved
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1/3 cup Nutritional Yeast Noochy Licious
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Dill Leaves
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp Lemon Zest Grated
  • 3 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Salt


  • In a blender add the 2 halved avocados, 3 garlic cloves, 1/3 cup Noochy Licious, ¼ cup dill, ½ cup basil, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 2 teaspoons lemon zest, 3 tablespoons lemon juice and 1 teaspoon salt
  • Blend together until smooth
  • Boil the pasta and then add the blended avocado sauce
  • Mix together and top the pasta with fresh basil and dill
